Mr. Abraham Ehijator Aziegbe is a General Manager and the Group Head of Retail Operations at Access Bank Plc. With over 25 years of progressive experience in the Financial Service Industry, he is a versatile Senior Banking professional with significant experience in Banking Operations, Human Resources Management and Relationship Management.
Prior to his current role at Access Bank, he held various roles in GTBank Plc including Head, Central Clearing; Group Head, Commercial Banking, Lagos 2; Regional Head, Transaction Services Group (Southwest, Nigeria) and Executive Director, Operations & IT (Sierra Leone) Ltd from 2011 to 2013. Prior to joining GTBank in 1997, he had a brief stint with Akintola Williams & Co. (Chartered Accountants) between 1995 and 1997. At Access Bank, he is an integral part of the team that have managed major projects in the Bank including the merger between Access Bank Plc and Diamond Bank plc in 2019 and other projects relating to the Retail expansion of Access Bank Plc. across Africa in the last decade.
Mr. Aziegbe sits on the Board of Access Bank Cameroon, Access Bank, Mozambique and Access Investors & Nominees Ltd as Non-Executive Director. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Business, an MBA degree from the University of Liverpool and a B.Sc. degree in Biochemistry (Second Class Upper Division) from the University of Benin. He is an Alumnus of the Lagos Business School and has attended several executive management development programs at leading institutions including IMD, London Business School, University of Michigan.
