NUIB

Do you know how to get your Unique Bank Identification Number (NUIB)?

Through Notice No. 10GBM2021, the Bank of Mozambique created the Unique Bank Identification Number (NUIB), one of the objectives of which is to make the National Payments System more modern and secure.

As of June 1, 2024, banking transactions will only be limited to customers who have a NUIB (Unique Bank Identification Number). Customers who do not update may have their transactions suspended until the NUIB is assigned.

The NUIB is important to ensure efficient monitoring of your transactions in the financial system.
